North Tulsa just got a new landmark. Stardom 101 Magazine has teamed up with Oklahoma hip hop veteran Dangerous Rob to drop a massive billboard at the corner of Apache and Cincinnati (MLK) — the exact spot where Rob’s grind began 25 years ago.
This isn’t just a billboard — it’s a time capsule. Back in the day, Rob was out there in the blazing 100-degree heat, slinging his CDs and cassettes to anyone who’d listen, determined to get his name ringing in hip hop.
“I used to stand on that corner in 100-degree weather selling my CDs and cassettes on a quest to be recognized in hip hop,” said Rob. “For Stardom 101 Magazine to collaborate with me and put up a billboard in the community where I started the grind — that’s heartfelt.”
The drop comes right as Rob is celebrating a career milestone — his first Apple iTunes plaque for the single “I Love U” featuring Mark Bryan hitting #44 on the Top 100 Daily Hip Hop Charts.
With a movie and album already lined up for 2026, 2025 is shaping up to be a defining chapter in Dangerous Rob’s story — a journey rooted in hustle, authenticity, and love for his city Tulsa Oklahoma.
This billboard isn’t just a nod to Rob’s past — it’s a reminder to every up-and-coming artist that dreams built in the streets can make it to the charts.
