HIVESONG is a high-energy rock duo from Chattanooga, Tennessee, blending Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Rock into a bold, modern sound rooted in classic heavy swagger. The band is made up of Kuyper (38, Chattanooga, TN) and Austen (36, Rome, GA). Their identity is built on big riffs, dramatic visuals, and a larger-than-life presence that feels both timeless and electric.
Kuyper has been playing music for over 30 years, studied classical guitar for a decade, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance. Since age 16, he has built a career as a touring musician and in-demand studio player, performing alongside national touring acts. Austen is a working artist, producer, and educator with nearly two decades of performance and recording experience. Classically trained on piano for 13 years, he has built a career as a multiinstrumentalist, songwriter, and studio owner.
HIVESONG stands on more than 50 years of combined musical experience. Their foundation in classical training, jazz study, touring circuits, and professional studio work gives the band both technical strength and creative depth. Kuyper’s long touring career and industry conversations, paired with Austen’s production credits and collaborative work, position HIVESONG as a serious and credible force in modern rock.

Since launching in June of 2025, HIVESONG has built strong early traction across streaming platforms. “The Funny Thing Is…” has generated over 59,000 combined streams and views, “Love is Pain” has surpassed 25,000 combined, “Electric Fever” has crossed 16,000 combined, and “Don’t Hide It” continues to grow with over 13,000 combined streams and views.
