Grammy weekend once again brought together the biggest names in music—Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA among them. Rising rapper and entrepreneur SKG, born Helecia Choyce, was also part of the celebration, making appearances across several major industry events.
Her weekend kicked off at the Grammy Museum during an intimate Q&A and listening session for NAACP-nominated spoken word artist Lynae Vanee. From there, SKG attended UnitedMasters’ “A Celebration of Independence,” where BigXthaPlug and Clipse energized the crowd in a showcase sponsored by McDonald’s and Hennessy.

She wrapped the week at R&B Money, joining Tank, G Herbo, and a network of creatives, influencers, and executives shaping today’s music landscape.
After previously submitting her work for Grammy consideration, SKG stepped onto this year’s red carpet with confidence and hope, sharing her belief that a nomination could be on the horizon.
