Grammy-nominated singer Teddy Swims is officially joining the Super Bowl celebrations in a big way. The chart-topping artist behind “Lose Control” has been announced as the headlining act for the Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert, adding even more excitement to the league’s iconic game-day festivities. The NFL confirmed the news on Wednesday (Jan. 28), revealing that the NetApp-presented pregame concert will be livestreamed on Peacock at 3:50 p.m. ET on game day, Feb. 8.
The high-energy show will be staged in the NFL’s massive pregame Tailgate Party zone just outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Just hours later, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will battle it out on football’s biggest stage. Fans across the country will also be able to tune in via more than 120 iHeartRadio stations nationwide, as well as through the iHeartRadio app.
Sharing his excitement, Swims reflected on how meaningful the moment is for him. Growing up in a football-loving family, the Super Bowl was a cherished tradition. “It’s one of those events I grew up watching with my dad and brothers and always dreamed of being part of,” he said. “Coming from a football family — I played and watched my whole life — it means everything to kick off the game in this way. It’s truly an honor.”
Opening the show will be Bay Area native and indie rapper LaRussell, who will also serve as the in-stadium house band throughout game day. For LaRussell, performing during Super Bowl week in his hometown is a milestone moment. He shared that music has taken him to places he never imagined, and being part of the Super Bowl experience is especially meaningful.

The Super Bowl Tailgate Concert has a strong legacy of star power, with previous headliners including Miley Cyrus, The Chainsmokers, The Black Keys, Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, and Post Malone. Teddy Swims now joins that impressive list as he takes center stage ahead of the biggest game of the year.
The tailgate concert will lead into the Super Bowl LX Opening Ceremony, which will feature Green Day. Fans can also look forward to an action-packed musical lineup throughout the night. Bad Bunny is set to deliver the highly anticipated halftime show, while Charlie Puth will perform the National Anthem. Brandi Carlile has been selected to sing “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will perform the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
With Teddy Swims Set to Headline Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert in 2026, the NFL is once again blending music, culture, and football into a can’t-miss global event, setting the tone for an unforgettable Super Bowl Sunday.
