Kaytranada has officially set the date for his latest musical release. On Monday (Aug. 11), the Grammy-winning Haitian Canadian DJ and producer revealed that his new album, Ain’t No Damn Way, will drop on Friday, Aug. 15.
“Oh lord, not a new album called AIN’T NO DAMN WAY! – coming out this Friday???” he posted on Instagram, alongside a playful image of himself being hugged by a quirky, winking cartoon character. The announcement also came with the news that the project’s first single, “Space Invader,” will debut at midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 12. In his Instagram Story, Kaytranada shared that the album is “strictly for workouts, dancing, studying, and for my people that love beats.”
Following the Success of Timeless
This upcoming release comes just one year after Kaytranada’s acclaimed third studio album, Timeless. That 21-track project featured collaborations with Rochelle Jordan, Don Toliver, Ravyn Lenae, Channel Tres, Childish Gambino, PinkPantheress, and others. Timeless peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 2 on the Top Dance Albums chart, further solidifying his status as a leading figure in the electronic and hip-hop fusion scene.
Busy Year of Collaborations and Remixes
In 2025, Kaytranada has kept busy with high-profile collaborations and remixes. He reimagined Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us” for The Emancipation of Mimi 20th Anniversary Edition and put his spin on JT’s “Ran Out.” He also produced standout tracks like Justine Skye’s “Oh Lala” and FLO’s “The Mood.”
Upcoming Tour With Justice
Fans will get the chance to experience Ain’t No Damn Way live when Kaytranada hits the road this fall. Starting Oct. 16 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C., he’ll embark on a 13-date North American co-headlining tour with Justice, visiting major arenas across the U.S. and wrapping up Nov. 16 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Earlier this year, he also rejoined The Weeknd’s After Hours til Dawn Tour, stepping in as the opener for the Canada shows after Playboi Carti’s departure.
With Ain’t No Damn Way just days away, Kaytranada is poised to deliver yet another groove-heavy, genre-blending record made, as he says, “for my people who love beats.”
