On the land, the sea, the sky, and the ice, keep it 100.

Two British skaters performed a captivating dance set to Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, demonstrating that showgirls can also shine on icy stages.

Bronze medallist Lilah Fear and seven-time British Ice Dance champion Lewis K. Gibson glide, spin, and twirl in perfect sync on the rink in a video posted by the Olympics’ official Instagram account. They substitute their own magnificent moves for the pop star’s widely shared choreography in the “Ophelia” music video.

“Lilah and Lewis make it look so simple…,” the caption reads. “By the way, how has Taylor not seen this yet?”

The post was made just a few months before the Winter Games in Italy begin on February 6 of next year. The schedule will include figure skating, skiing, ice hockey, curling, bobsleighing, and other sports.

As “The Fate of Ophelia” spends its sixth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, the Olympics also released the video. The song is by far the biggest hit from Swift’s October album The Life of a Showgirl, which debuted at number 200 on the Billboard charts and immediately broke the record for the highest opening sales week ever.

Ariana Grande of Wicked and Cynthia Erivo are two additional celebrities who have participated in the promotional cycle ahead of the Games next year. Videos of Team USA’s curling and figure-skating squads, which were released earlier this month in collaboration with NBC, featured both of the main ladies.
