Over the weekend, Slim Thug took to Instagram Live to vent about being rejected by a woman. When fans in the comments speculated that the woman in question could be Megan Thee Stallion, the Houston rapper quickly denied the rumors. “Slim Thug Shuts Down Rumors About Interest in Megan Thee Stallion: ‘I’m Just Glad to See Everyone Happy,’” he declared during the stream.
“As much as I like the Stallion, I wanna be treated like a king,” he said. “She’s a whole queen.”
Fans Question His Denial
Despite his clarification, many Instagram Live viewers weren’t convinced. Slim Thug doubled down in another live session, saying:
“I have never, on my kids, actually tried to talk to the Stallion, you stupid f—ks. I’ve hyped her up because she’s the Houston motherf—king queen, you dumb f—ks. Never did I think I’d wanna pay for gifts for a Stallion. She’s up there with Beyoncé.”
He added that he vacations with a woman “every month,” shutting down any notion of being obsessed with Megan.
Slim Explains His Connection to Megan
Responding to speculation that he was stalking her, Slim Thug pointed out:
“Why the f—k did she call me to get in her video? Why the f—k did she call me when she came to perform in Houston?”
He emphasized he has “nothing but love” for Megan.
“I would never hate on her. I salute her and Klay [Thompson],” he said, before adding, “Happy to see everybody happy.”
A History of Rumors
This isn’t the first time Slim Thug has been linked to Megan Thee Stallion. Earlier this year, he claimed the rapper had a crush on him. However, Megan publicly dismissed that claim during her Coachella set in April.
“And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe,” Megan told fans while performing.
Slim Thug’s Response
After Megan’s statement, Slim responded on Instagram, insisting there might still be a connection.
“She gave me a shout-out, said my name on the Coachella stage,” he said. “And then she called me ‘babe.’ Come on now, that’s a lot. That was a good shout-out. Played my songs, everything. Streams up on ‘Thug From Around the Way.’ We good. We love all that, man. Imma be patient, man. Gotta come home. Slim ain’t going nowhere.”
