Multi-Genre music producer Romario ‘Romieikon’ English has once again dropped an impactful compilation that showcases his diversity within the musical space.
Currently embarked on a promotional campaign for his ‘Angel Number’ project, the music enthusiast is positive that the project will continue building on its momentum through consistency.
Released under his British Linkz imprint, the project features; ‘Forever Life’ by XX3eme, Kacique and D’yani with their ‘Prayer’ collaboration, Deeclef with his ‘Best Regards’ track and ‘Decisive’ by buzzing Dancehall artiste Knaxx, each artiste offering their unique interpretation of the contemporary blended Dancehall Soul beat.
Speaking with English he shared, “ With a project as real as this one, my team and I are exploring every possible avenue of marketing that will aid this project with reaching its maximum potential. The overall project is inspired by my own life view changing experiences, it consolidates a time when I was forced to lean on a higher power’s understanding than my own and navigate life. Each artiste was speaking to different challenges we all face as human beings from their own perspective; love, finances, death, etc so each single is really geared towards a particular emotion and not just to be consumed for merely entertainment”
‘Decisive’ stands as the first released track from the project and has managed to chart in numerous countries, reaching thousands of listeners through playlisting while receiving hundreds of fan videos on creator platforms.
“This song continues to make an impression even months after its release because it’s one of those songs that are relatable. It’s mindful and relatable because ever so often men meet women who only decide to be with them because they have something to offer and it speaks to people in general and their approach towards life” Expressed Knaxx.
Kacique and Dyani’s ‘Prayer’ stands out as the most viral track from the project, racking up thousands of streams, hitting the iTunes charts in different countries, while steadily garnering new listeners each day across digital sites.
Speaking with Kacique he shares how the collaboration came about; “Prayer was originally a solo freestyle I recorded and uploaded to social media two years ago as a part of my Somer Set Freestyle Series. It served as a testimony of resilience, faith, and gratitude for answered prayers. Due to numerous requests to make it an official track, we decided to bring D’yani on board. His addition elevated the song’s power and emotion, making fans fall in love with it all over again”
D’Yani adds; “ The reception for Prayer thus far has been amazing, we are super grateful for all the persons involved and the support we have been getting. Prayer itself has done wonders for me, it’s my conversion with Jah, to express my desire and gratitude, it has done wonders for me throughout my career so to be a part of a track that serves as a direct conversation to Jah is humbling yet sublime”
With the artistes’ offering immersive sounds that have captivated audiences on a worldwide scale, this project further displays the artistes’ capability to delve into their vulnerability by exploring themes that are pertinent to real life experiences.
To follow through on the label’s campaign Romieikon is set to release a Spanish inspired project called Cubano this summer.
Romario English has also expanded his brand in 2025 by being a part of the campaign for the New Rules Tour set to cover Jamaica, The UK and Canada.
