Known for her voice roles like “MC Swag” on LOL HOUSE OF SURPRISES and on-camera parts, Reese Warren is now fully embracing her musical journey. With seven original songs already released, her latest single, “TREATS YOU WELL,” marks a significant turn as she transitions to a more mature, coming-of-age sound. Reese chats with us about the shift from singles to a debut EP, balancing her growing social media presence with privacy, and the rewarding challenges of working on projects like Disney’s Ultimate Princess campaign. Plus, she shares her passion for giving back to vital causes like Operation Underground Railroad and Thirst Project.

Hi Reese – thanks for chatting with us!  We’d love to hear more about your music and your new song “TREATS YOU WELL”:

You’re best known for voicing “MC Swag” on LOL HOUSE OF SURPRISES. What unique challenges or joys come with voice acting compared to on-camera roles like Bella in ACE & THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE?

I absolutely love voice acting. It is so much fun. For my role as MC Swag, I was able to record at my home studio. For other roles, I went to Burbank. One of the things I love about voice acting is that I can wear comfy clothes and not really worry about how I look. I do love my on-camera roles and set days are some of my favorites for both voice and on camera roles.

You can be seen as the lead in Disney’s Ultimate Princess and heard in Pixar’s Slumberland. Can you share any details about what those projects entailed?

It was such an honor to be chosen by Disney to represent Moana for their Ultimate Princess Kindness Campaign. It was a surreal experience seeing myself on the actual Disney website. Slumberland changed names and was not released through Pixar, but it was an awesome time working on the project.

You have a small but fun role in the movie In Your Dreams coming to Netflix. How does taking on a smaller role fit into your overall career strategy?

As they say in this business… “there are no small roles”. Though I only had a couple lines it was so much fun and my lines are funny and impactful. To have the ability for my work to stand out in whatever project I am working on is a blessing and fits in perfectly with my overall career strategy.

You have already released seven previous original songs. What prompted the decision to move from a steady stream of singles to releasing a full EP next year?

“Treats You Well” marks the beginning of finding my own sound and style. With that, I am ready to show that I am not a little girl anymore. My lyrics and songs are more coming of age and mature in nature. I am ready to release my first EP.

You are planning to release your first official EP in the spring of 2026. Will “Treats You Well” be on the EP, and what is the central narrative or sound you are aiming for with the entire collection?

I have not decided if “Treats You Well” will be on the EP, but I am leaning toward yes. It will be one of the known songs on the EP. I think the central narrative of the EP will be a “coming of age” theme. I want the EP to spark nostalgia, emotion and connection to everyone who hears it.

With over 200K on Instagram, 50K on TikTok, and 30K on YouTube, you have a significant presence. How do you balance using these platforms to share your music and acting journey versus maintaining your personal privacy?

I have a great team of people around me. My mom handles most of my social media and supports me with what I post. I love my fans and enjoy sharing my work with them. In the same respect, a work life balance is key and I keep most of my personal life private. Though I know how important social media is and that my fans like to share in my personal life, so I share with them what I can. I try to engage with my fans a lot and let them know how much I appreciate their love and support.

In your own words, what is the most rewarding way you see your social media platforms inspiring your audience?

The more rewarding way my social media platforms can inspire my audience is if my work brings a feeling of contentment when listening or watching my work. I hope to leave the person feeling moved in some way. I hope I inspire one to not give up on their dreams no matter how long it takes.

You are a passionate supporter of organizations like Operation Underground Railroad and Thirst Project. What drew you specifically to supporting these causes?

Human trafficking and forced labor are a HUGE problem worldwide. People need to realize it is everywhere, and we need to focus on stopping it. As for Thirst Project, I wake up every day with fresh water to drink. It is not even a thought. I have that. EVERYONE in the world deserves fresh water to drink.

How do you find the time to integrate your charitable work with your busy schedules in music and entertainment?

Honestly, I wish I could do more. I would love to spend some time “boots on the ground” so to speak and be a part of functions. When I have my own events, I make sure Operation Underground Railroad and Thirst Project are represented in some way. I usually do a donation link for them as part of people attending my event.

Have you considered using your music, perhaps through a special project or a percentage of sales, to directly support any of the charities you champion?

Yes. That is what I do and will do on a larger scale once I am able.

Thank you!
